Bartlesville High School was quite the experience for me. The best part was the sense of community. Whether it was cheering at football games or studying in the library, I always felt supported by my teachers and classmates. The variety of clubs and sports teams also made high school memorable, allowing me to explore different interests and make lasting friendships.
However, there were tough moments too. Balancing homework with extracurriculars could be overwhelming, and there were moments of drama and cliques that made navigating social life tricky. Despite these challenges, I grew a lot during my time at Bartlesville High. The rigorous academics and college prep programs pushed me to excel.
Looking back, high school was a mix of highs and lows, but I wouldn't trade the experience for anything. Bartlesville High School shaped me into the person I am today, teaching me valuable lessons about perseverance, friendship, and the importance of community.

I had the privilege of learning from highly dedicated teachers who loved their students. Rather than spitting out the same curriculum as every other teacher, most of the teachers I had preferred less conventional methods of teaching, and this made for a more effective and memorable learning experience. My AP Psychology and AP Literature teacher, Mrs. Ward, made every lesson engaging and interesting; I am forever grateful for the fact that teachers like her made me value knowledge in itself. However, my only complaint is that the administration seemed to be more concerned with the dress code, which was both arbitrarily enforced and highly degrading. The dress code targeted curvier girls, and people whom the administrators and teachers knew personally and liked usually flew under the radar- regardless of what they wore. Overall, I had a good experience at my Bartlesville High School, and was very lucky to have had such incredible teachers.
