💗 Ninja Creami Strawberry Ice Cream
- Using fresh strawberries gives it a vibrant strawberry flavor that you won't find in store-bought ice creams.
- It has a smooth and creamy ice cream base. This recipe does not contain cream cheese, which I find leaves a film on the roof of my mouth.
- Made from fresh ingredients, there are no artificial flavors or colors.
- Thanks to the Ninja Creami ice cream maker, it is easy to make your favorite ice cream at home.
🍓 Recipe Ingredients
Only five basic ingredients are needed to make this recipe, and they can all be found at your local grocery store.
Ingredient Notes:
- Strawberries. Fresh strawberries add natural sweetness and delicious fruity flavor. You can also use frozen strawberries if you like.
- Heavy whipping cream. Heavy cream creates a smooth and velvety base for the strawberry flavor to shine through. For a lighter ice cream, use half-and-half instead. Unsweetened coconut cream can also be used if you prefer a non-dairy alternative.
- Whole milk. Whole milk balances the creamy texture without making it too heavy. If you want to reduce the fat content, you can use lower-fat milk, almond milk, or coconut milk.
- Powdered sugar. Powdered sugar is used as a sweetener in this recipe, ensuring that it dissolves easily into the mixture while providing just the right amount of sweetness without adding any graininess. If you prefer, you can use honey, monk fruit sweetener, or raw agave nectar instead.
- Vanilla extract. Vanilla extract enhances the flavor. I prefer real vanilla extract for the best flavor. You can also use vanilla bean paste if you have it.

🍨 How To Make Ninja Creami Strawberry Ice Cream
This recipe makes one pint of ice cream.
Wash and hull the strawberries, then chop them into smaller pieces.
In a measuring glass or Ninja Creami pint jar, combine the heavy whipping cream, whole milk, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract.
Stir the mixture with a whisk or fork until the powdered sugar is fully dissolved and all the ingredients are combined.
Pour the mixture into the Ninja Creami pint jar, making sure not to exceed the MAX FILL line.
Add the chopped strawberries to the mixture and gently stir to incorporate them.
Securely attach the plastic lid on the pint jar. Place the pint jar in the freezer on a level surface and let it freeze for at least 24 hours.
After the 24-hour freezing period, remove the pint jar from the freezer and remove the lid.
Place the pint container in the outer bowl of the Ninja Creami ice cream machine. Lock the outer bowl lid and place bowl assembly onto the Ninja Creami motor base. Turn the handle to the right to raise the platform and lock it in place.
Select "Ice Cream" on the Ninja Creami control panel and let the machine work its magic. In just a couple of minutes, you'll have creamy strawberry ice cream.
Remove the pint jar from the machine. If the resulting ice cream looks a little dry or crumbly after the first spin, reattach the lid and select the RE-SPIN function on the control panel to process the mixture again. This will give it a chance to reach the perfect consistency.
Once the ice cream has reached its creamy texture, it's time to serve! Grab your favorite ice cream scoop and dig into the pint of homemade strawberry ice cream.
You can enjoy it as is - scoop the strawberry ice cream into bowls or cones - or get creative by adding mix-ins like white chocolate chips.
Serve immediately and enjoy the refreshing and creamy Ninja Creami Strawberry Ice Cream!
Top Tip
Feel free to customize the recipe by adding mix-ins such as chocolate chips, crushed cookies, or chopped nuts. Simply add them after churning, when the ice cream is soft enough to stir, and press the "MIX-IN" button on the Ninja Creami machine.
🍨 Serving Suggestions
- Classic Bowl: Serve a scoop or two of creamy strawberry ice cream in a bowl or waffle cone.
- Berry Parfait: Layer the strawberry ice cream with fresh berries and granola in a glass to create a parfait. Repeat the layers and top with whipped cream.
- Strawberry Sundae: Create a sundae by topping the strawberry ice cream with sliced strawberries, whipped cream, and a chocolate or caramel sauce drizzle.
- Ice Cream Float: Scoop some strawberry ice cream into a tall glass and pour your favorite soda (like ginger ale or lemon-lime soda) over it for a fizzy, fruity float.
- Strawberry Milkshake: Blend the strawberry ice cream with milk to create a thick, creamy shake. Use the "MILKSHAKE" function on your Ninja Creami.

- Let the ice cream sit at room temperature for a few minutes to soften slightly for easy churning.
