Is GovDeals reliable? ›

If a bidder doesn't pay for or pick up the property, they are charged by Gov Deals a 40% default fee on the price the lot sold for. They are also barred from bidding on any other auction until the default fee is paid.

A request to withdraw a bid must be confirmed in writing stating the reason which will become part of the bid file. Withdrawal of a bid does not confer the right to correct or change a bid.

If you have not already registered for an account with GovDeals, you must do so before you can place a bid. If you're already registered on another Liquidity Services marketplace, your login information will be the same for GovDeals and you do not need to create another account.

If the auction has ended and the reserve was NOT met, please monitor your inbox over the next week for any potential updates from GovDeals. The Seller may: Issue a second chance offer to the highest bidder to accept the highest received bid. That bidder can choose to accept or decline this offer.
