Kiara (2024)

Kiara is the primary protagonist of The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride, and a supporting character of the show, The Lion Guard. She is currently the Princess and future Queen of the Pride Lands. She is an older sister to Kion, daughter of Nala and Simba, granddaughter of Nala's mother Sarafina and Nala's father, great-niece to Scar, and mate to Kovu.

Personality

Kiara is kind, loyal, strong, determined and independent. She is very stubborn and firm in her decisions.She's also a little snarky towards her younger brother, who is equally snarky back, though she truly does care for him. Kiara often employs sarcasm, especially when she is irritated. However, she is also polite and does not hesitate to express her gratitude.And she is also known as kind, playful, adventurous, a bit tomboyish, curious, highly intelligent, strong-willed, sassy (as a young cub), arrogant (sometimes), loyal, caring, free spoken, prideful (at times) and brave.Kiara shows much excitement in becoming the future queen of the Pride Lands. Shedisplays a great sense of responsibility, especially in her position as future queen. She also respects and understands the Circle of Life, and willingly shares her knowledge of it with her friends.Kiara loves and cares for her father Simbaand does not want to let him down.Bad odors bother her, though she did not mind whenBungaused them to save her.Unlike her friendsTiifuandZuri, Kiara believes that there are more important things than appearance. Though she continues to be friends with the two and has saved them before, she often displays her annoyance and impatience with them.

Looks

Kiara resembles her mother, Nala. She is a younglionessand has pale golden-orange fur with a cream underbelly, muzzle, and paws. Her eyes are amber-brown and her nose and inner ears are purplish pink. She has narrow dark brown eyebrows. The tuft at the end of Kiara's tail is a soft brown hue. Her sclerae are a vivid shade of yellow, the same as those of her father's, and distinctively brighter than most.

Trivia

• She is the firstborn of the official cub of Nala and Simba. (They have Kopa but he's an unofficial character.)
• She was going to be a male character at first, but changed to female. In the ending of first film, the cub (Fluffy) was mention to be a male named Kopa. Some decline that they are seperated.
• Her name is princess/bright in Swahilli.
