Are you guilty of taking a bite of keto cookie dough when you are making cookies? No need to be guilty anymore! This mouthwatering keto chocolate chip cookie dough fat bomb recipe is about to bring you a delightful dessert that you can enjoy. Keto cookie dough, aka fat bombs, are one of the best keto desserts that you will ever try out.

These keto cookie dough fat bombs are quite easy to make. They have minimal carbs and are perfect to satisfy your sweet tooth. They are also higher in fat so you can easily reach your fat goals without going over board on fat or protein. Also, chocolate cookie dough fat bombs make for the perfect pick-me-up keto snack to get through a sluggish afternoon.

Itching to enjoy your own keto cookie dough fat bombs? All you need is almond flour, butter, cream cheese, and monk fruit! Mix everything up and make your own fat bombs. It’s the perfect combo of healthy fats and deliciousness. These fat bombs are considered a cream cheese fat bomb since they have cream cheese, but the cream cheese isn’t overpowering. These fat bombs are perfect for those that don’t like coconut oil because there is none in this recipe! If you want to add a little texture to your keto edible cookie dough, you can also throw in a handful of nuts, seeds or shredded coconut. It will make this keto fat bomb recipe even more delectable!

What is a Keto Fat Bomb?

If you haven’t tried fat bombs before, you might be thinking of this snack as greasy, non-keto, and full of gluten. You would be right if we are eating regular chocolate chip cookie dough with all the carbs and sugar.

    You can’t be more wrong!

Fat bombs are delicious small snacks that can be used to bomb anything with mind-blowing flavors. They are loaded with fat rich ingredients and make for great energy bites if you are on a keto diet. Many people like to use fat bombs as energy snacks or to help them reach their fat macros. So, whenever you feel low at work, you can take out some fat bombs from your stash and rejuvenate your energy.

Benefits of Keto Cookie Dough Fat Bombs

Fat bombs feature healthy fats along with a touch of protein. But a true keto fat bomb is mostly made up of fat and lower in protein and carbs. You can pop them in your mouth and relish as your mouth explodes with the sweet and nutty flavors hiding in the small snack.

In fact, research suggests that saturated fats like cream cheese and coconut oil help to increase our levels of good cholesterol. This helps to reduce insulin and blood sugar levels as long as you are keeping your carbs low, like we do on a keto diet.

The best thing about these keto cookie dough fat bombs is that the fats take longer to break down in our digestive tract, making us feel fuller for longer.

Healthy, delicious and energizing… What more could you want!

    Sugar-Free Chocolate

Whenever many people think of chocolate, they think of the delicious, sweet chocolate. But, they also think of the sugar and calories it brings with it.

The good news is that you don’t have to think of the carbs now! Thanks to the many keto companies making keto approved chocolate, you can enjoy sugar free milk chocolate on a low carb diet. ChocZero is my favorite sugar free chocolate company. It has keto chocolates, like milk chocolate, dark chocolate and white chocolate, so you don’t have to miss out on the bliss of chocolate in this cookie dough fat bomb.

    Use a Cookie Scoop

The easiest way to mold these keto fat bombs is to use a cookie scoop to make this edible chocolate chip cookie dough. Once the dough is done, just scoop it out and place it on a tray to put it in the fridge. All done! No baking, no cooking!

If you don’t have a cookie scoop, just roll the dough in between the palm of your hands.

    Let’s Substitute!

If you want, you can substitute regular butter with a nut butter like peanut or almond butter. The natural creaminess of the nut butter will add more flavor to the fat bombs. If you go for almond butter, the fat bombs will taste more like cookie dough. Peanut butter has a stronger flavor than almond butter. Whatever butter you try, the fat bombs will be delicious! However, do keep in mind, that this will increase the carb count in your fat bombs.

If you don’t like almond flour, you can use coconut flour instead. Both types of flours add their distinct flavor to the fat bombs. You can also reduce the amount of coconut flour you are using. 3-4 tablespoons of coconut flour is a good place to start from.

Tips for Making the Best Keto Cookie Fat Bombs

The recipe is quite simple, but here are some tips to make it easier for you.

First off, take extra care while beating the ingredients. Make sure that the ingredients get fully mixed. You wouldn’t want clumps of cream cheese hiding away in the batter.

One of the most important things that you should keep in mind is that all the ingredients are at room temperature before you start mixing them. This makes the cookie dough smoother with no clumps.

Another tip for cream cheese is to microwave it before you use it. This makes it easier to combine and helps to form a smoother batter.

Also, use a cookie scoop! Silicone molds are great for fat bombs. You can easily pop them out once they are frozen. If you don’t have silicone molds, you can use any other mold also.

Another idea is to place the cookie dough in a dish and cut it up into rectangular pieces once it gets frozen. This chocolate chip cookie dough is really good frozen too.

For serving, the best time is after dinner. But you can even enjoy them for breakfast when you are running late for work. If you want to get a little fancy, try adding some berries, coconut, or nuts to the fat bombs.

    Storage

Keto cookie fat bombs are great for keto meal prep too! If you want to make keto cookie fat bombs in advance, you can store them. If you are putting them in the fridge, don’t put them in for more than a week. In a freezer, they’ll stay for about a month or two. If you are freezing them, you will can thaw them at room temperature before you eat them or eat them frozen. But there’s no guarantee that you’ll find the fat bombs next time you open the freezer as they make for a delicious midnight snack!

    3. Well I made these. I didn’t have the Monkfruit sweetener so I used Now brand Erythritol (granulated). I also didn’t have the Milk chocolate sugar free chips so I used brand Bake Believe Dark Chocolate no sugar added chips (55% cacao). They had a good taste but probably not as sweet as this brand. I’m not really a baker and I’m some what new to keto. So what do u all think.
